is Pump Master Psi gauge accurate?
Unlike traditional analogue PSI gauges and basic wired pumps, Pump Master uses a digital PSI display with an electronic sensor that converts air pressure into a signal, which is then processed by a microprocessor and shown on the screen. This allows for precise pressure readings with accuracy up to 0.01 PSI.
Is the battery indicator accurate?
Many low-cost pumps rely on a simple voltmeter for battery indication, which can be inaccurate due to residual surface charge and doesn’t reflect true battery levels.

How is Pump Master callibrated?
Pump master is multi-point tested vigorously at 100% of full scale. Tested at psi ranges of 5-30psi and 50-85psi ranges. Our factory tests include increasing and decreasing pressure cycles, this confirms the sensor returns to the same reading everytime, regardless of whether inflating or deflating.
Microprocessors in Pump Master automatically filter out pump noise and compensates for environmental temperature, providing a stable reading that a simple mechanical gauge cannot compete with.
Will the device get too hot or overheat?
Heat will always be a byproduct of any electrical component or mechanical component.
How Pump master solves this problem:
- Use of Rubber Viton internal seals instead of cheap nitrile ones for greater heat dissipation.
- Heat dispersing holes on the bottom of the Pump Master allow greater dissipation.
